Lovemore Tafirenyika Makunike

Lovemore is a seasoned enterprise development expert with over 25 years involvement in programs and projects geared towards the economic development of developing countries through the development and promotion of investment, industrialization, trade and export promotion, technology and innovation, capacity building as well as business linkages. He has been involved in creating sustainable conditions for enterprise creation and growth to respond to local and export markets; Reducing the cost of doing business and encouraging investment; Assisting in positioning the private sector to respond to opportunities in specific categories of the market; and Increasing the number of formal enterprises, employment and skilled workers. He has intimate knowledge of technology commercialisation particularly in the chemical industry value chain. He has assisted several start-ups with strategy formulation resulting in bankable business plans. He has used a company diagnostic instrument to assess the malaise in businesses and drawn up and implemented programmes to fix them. He enjoys mentoring and motivating other people to achieve their goals. Lovemore holds a B.Sc Honours Degree majoring in Chemistry & Biochemistry, an M.Sc Degree in Analytical Chemistry and an MBA.

 

 

Jonathan Itayi Nyandoro

Jonathan is Civil / Structural Engineer with extensive experience in Civil / Structural Engineering design and project Management. Jonathan has over 20 years post graduating engineering experience. His expertise is in the structural analysis and design of both reinforced concrete and structural steel structures. Project Management of multidiscipline mining and mineral processing projects. Experience varies from Bulk Materials Handling, Industrial, Mining & Mineral processing, Port Infrastructure, Commercial and Residential Infrastructure. Other areas of expertise include: estimation and budgeting of structural steel tonnage & reinforced concrete quantity feasibility studies, Concept & Preliminary designs, Detail Design Preparation of tenders and Project Management. He has a passion for blending technology and business in coming up with entrepreneurial business ventures for sustainable wealth creation. Jonathan holds a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters Degree in Engineering and an MBA. Jonathan is also finalist in the chartered Institute of secretaries and administrators (CIS).

 

 

Vhusimuzi Phiri

MPhil in Development Finance, BBMIT, AIOBZ, Dip Investments

Vhusi is an entrepreneur and business enabler with more than 12 years experience in assisting businesses extract value from their business processes and information systems investments. Vhusi has travelled extensively in Africa assisting clients in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Lesotho, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe to optimise their business processes. He has setup successful and thriving businesses including Cerrex Consulting sold to PricewaterhouseCoopers South Africa (PwC) in 2014. Vhusi has worked for ZB Financial Holdings and Delta Corporation in Zimbabwe, and in South Africa, AccTech Systems and Cerrex Consulting. A first class graduate in Business Management & I.T (Honours) with Catholic University in Zimbabwe, Diploma in Banking (IOBZ), Programme in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management (UNISA), Management Development Programme (Mandel), Vhusi has just completed Master of Philosophy in Development Finance with University of Stellenbosch.

 

 

Gift Chawasarira

Gift is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a vast experience in the financial services sector. His expertise in the financial services sector includes experience in developmental financial institutions, pension funds, collective investments, medical schemes, insurance and home loans. He previously held various leadership roles including the 2010-12 Treasurer for Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA) Johannesburg Branch, Chairperson of theRand Afrikaans University Community Development Society (2003/2004)and is currently a committee member of the SAICA Young Chartered Accountant Network. Gift is studying towards a Masters in Business Leadership. He is passionate about implementing poverty alleviation solutions and empowering youth.

 

 

Alphonce Bhunu

Alphonce Bhunu is an Information Technology Specialist with extensive experience in the design, implementation and support of enterprise resource planning systems in a wide range of industries including mining, manufacturing, banking and finance, public sector, education, oil and gas, utilities and agriculture. He is experienced in systems configuration, testing, training, business process re-modelling for performance optimization to ensure businesses extract optimum value out of implemented information systems. This experience covers Human Capital development, including design of organizational structures for optimum performance and simplified reporting, talent management, training and development and payroll management. He has worked with organisations in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Netherlands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand and America and assisting them in implementing and or stabilizing their environments and to increase their ROI from their Information Systems. He has mentored a number of people to be successful in their careers. Alphonce holds a B.Sc Honours Degree in Business Management and Information Technology, a SAP Certification and is currently studying towards a Masters in Business Leadership.
